 I've
been getting the 'road itch' pretty bad |

Is kicking up whitecaps besides making my arms ache |

come upon this eerie landscape |
 There
are just two seasons - winter and road construction |
 Gas
is really interesting today |
 'There's
some pretty nasty gravel roads ahead ...' |
 So
with the stroke of a shovel |
 It
happens - a massive unmarked pothole |
 It
may take a while, but never lose your dream |
 I
realize I will probably not be back here again |
 For
the first fifteen miles it's a real joy to ride ... |
 It
looks like it's going to be a rainy day all day long |
 The
quiet of the morning ... is like a good tonic for my being |
 The
best-laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley |
 After
all Custer was a union soldier |
 Real
cowboys that are wearing cowboy hats |
 I
realize just how blessed I am |
